Due to Erin's post, I realized that I missed the forum setting of DIT and maybe wanted to try to get this started. I'll start with a simple question!

What are your goals as far as weight loss and maintenance go at the moment?

Myself? I'd like to lose about 15 pounds in the next several weeks and maybe more over time. I'd like to start running as well. I just started exercising again yesterday, we got a treadmill in the house so I've been weaned off of my dependency on exercise tapes.

i just want to do more running/walking in the neighborhood, rather than exercising indoors. i never really felt safe before nor did i feel i had the time with classes and weird work schedules. now i just work pretty regular schedules so i can fit a better exercise routine in during my days. it's also pretty safe here where i live, i'm not downtown or in the ghetto where i used to be (haha at first apartments).

I'd like to get over my laziness and start being more physically active (especially since I don't have school as an excuse anymore). I'd like my jeans not to be so tight (though I don't have a specific number in mind because I have no idea how much I weigh) and most of all I'd like to cut back on my soda and sweets intake.

At the moment i wanna lose the 15 I gained in the last few months. :)

Then I wanna be at my lowest weight by my birthday.

Other than that, nothing is planned.. but since I have a wedding to plan I don't want to wear a plus sized dress lol
